He was predeceased by: his parents, John Compton Sr. and Bernice Compton; and his wife Betty Compton. He is survived by: his children, Scott Compton, Zoe Callaway (Robert) and Deron Compton. He is also survived by four grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
