Joseph Vernaci Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Vernaci (Washington, Missouri), who passed away on May 1, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Michael and Edith Iona Vernaci; and his brother Rick Vernaci (Kathy Rizzo) of Warrenton, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his daughters, Anne Roustio (Nathan) of Dallas, TX, Monica Vernaci of Ballwin, MO and Marie Vernaci (Jake Dobsch) of Washington, MO; his grandchildren, Ethan Vernaci, Graham and Catherine Dobsch; and his siblings, Jolene Klinger (Rick) of Pacific, MO, Gina Vernaci (Bill Hilyard) of Lakewood, OH and Tony Vernaci (Kathi) of Rochester Hills, MI. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (1206 Jefferson St, Washington, MO 63090). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (1014 Madison Ave, Washington, MO 63090).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, 1014 Madison Ave., Washington, MO.
