It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ludell F. Rettke of Washington, Missouri, born in Augusta, Missouri, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ferdinand Buenemann and Olga; her husband Arlie Rettke; her siblings, Agnes Ridder, Harold Buenemann, Herbert Buenemann and Rubell Meyer; her grandson Derek Brown; her son-in-law Robert Schatte; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Ridder, Roland Meyer, Agatha Buenemann and Berniece Buenemann.

She is survived by : her children, Diane Schatte of Krakow, Devonne Manhart (Tony) of Clover Bottom and Gary Rettke (Mary Beth) of Clover Bottom; her grandchildren, Michelle Roettering (Ty) of New Haven, Becky Brown (Wayne) of Union, Cara Hiripitiyage (Dinesh) of St. Louis, Gina Braden (Casey) of St. Louis and Dan Rettke (Meaghan) of Eureka; her great grandchildren, Trey Roettering, Lane Roettering, Jennifer Crawford, Kiersten Brown, Corrin Hiripitiyage, Parker Braden, Quinn Braden, Rowan Braden, Reese Rettke and Jack Rettke; and her great great grandchild Wyatt Lewis.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Peter's U.C.C. Cemetery Fund or Mercy Hospice-Washington.
