He was predeceased by: his parents, Armando Santistevan and Wilma Bennett; his son-in-law Timothy Caton; and his siblings, Linda, Leo Santistevan, Ernest Santistevan, Fabiola Lucero, Michael Santistevan, Jack Bennett and Jim Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Thompson; his children, Tony Thompson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Abby Jeffress of Pineville and Samantha Caton of Washington, Missouri.; his stepchildren, Amy Horowitz of Creve Coeur, Trisha VanWelden of Washington and Garret Moore of Warrenton, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Thompson, Jacob Thompson (Alexia), Christopher Thompson, Ethan Reed, Sophia Reed, McKenzie Reed, Constantine Wheeler, Sawyer Garza, Kaleb VanWeelden, Avery VanWeelden and Breeanna Moore; his great grandchild Alayna Thompson; and his siblings, Marcia Santistevan of Albequerque, Margaret Johnson (Andy Martinez) of Chama, Don Santistevan of Albuquerque, Gil Santistevan (Rhonda Newsom) of Albuquerque and Steven Bennett of Osage Beach. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
