She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Amelung and Rita; and her siblings, Louise Charboneau and Ralph Amelung. She is survived by : her brothers, Robert Amelung of Maryland Heights, James Amelung of Columbia, MO and Dennis Amelung (Mary) of St. Louis County; and her sister-in-law Mary Amelung. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Memorial donations can be made to the Missouri Botanical Gardens.
