We announce the death of Orville Martin Engemann of Washington, Missouri, born in Marthasville, Missouri, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 91. Orville will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Engemann and Olivia Engemann; his parents-in-law, Leslie and Tilda; his siblings, Virgil Engemann (Helen), Arthur Engemann (Joan), Delphine Mades (Leslie), Florentine "Dodie" Wunderlich (Walter) and Joan Buescher (Rom); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Mechem and Mary Dixon.

He is survived by: his wife May Engemann; his children, Mark Engemann of Washington, Kim Kimminau (Ken) of Washington and Julie Becker (David) of Washington; his grandchildren, Olivia Meletio (Nick), Kayla Grissum (Bryan), Meg Frankenberg (Nick) and Abby Hopkins (Chad); his great grandchildren, Ava Meletio, Grace, Madison, Joel, Riley Grissum, Camille Frankenberg, Hayes, Amelia, Adelyn and Creed Hopkins; his sister Rose Marie Willenbrink of Augusta; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Mechem (Alberta), Linda Gabbard (Mike) of Washington and Betty Mechem of Union. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Francis Borgia Church.
