Peter Knight Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2026, at the age of 58, Peter Knight of Washington, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Knight and Mary Ellen Knight (Griffin); his daughter Natalie Knight; and his mother-in-law Susie Menke. He is survived by: his wife Mary Knight (Menke) of Washington, Missouri; his children, Caroline Knight of Washington, Missouri and Luke Knight (Lindsey) of Kansas City, Missouri; his siblings, Rita Stebbing (Frank) of Washington, Missouri, Bill Knight (Karen) of Shell Knob, Missouri, Rev. Robert Knight of Villa Ridge, Missouri, David Knight (Geri) of Union, Missouri, John Knight Jr. (Janice) of Gray Summit, Missouri, Mary Roy (Wayne) of Potosi, Missouri, Andrew Knight (Karen) of Washington, Missouri, Nancy Struckhoff (John) of Washington, Missouri, Monsignor Jeffery Knight of Affton, Missouri, Veda Scharpenburg (Mark) of Omaha, Nebraska, Brian Knight (Joan) of Gray Summit, Missouri and Kevin Knight (Sheri) of Washington, Missouri; and his siblings-in-law, Francis Menke (Jeanne) of New Haven, Missouri, Dianne Menke of Washington, Missouri and Brenda Voss (Bob) of New Haven, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home (1053 Hwy C, New Haven, MO 63068). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Assumption Church (603 Miller St, New Haven, MO 63068).

Memorial donations may be given to Riverfront Cultural Society in New Haven.
