She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludwig Hempelmann and Josephine; her husband Donald Meyer; her children, David Meyer and Aggie Sanders; her brother Dr. L. Dean Hempelmann; her grandson Daniel Schmitt; and her sons-in-law, Kevin Murdock, Mike McFerrin and Ron Eggenberg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Mathis (Mark) of Washington, Linda Kelley (Phil) of Union, Laura Murdock of New Haven and Alice Eggenberg of Union; her brother DeWayne Hempelmann (Peggy) of Anchorage, AK; her grandchildren, Robert Mathis (Barb), Eric Mathis (Lisa), Chris Kelley (Abbie), Philip Kelley (Katie), Nick Kelley (Jen), Trisha Whitaker (David), William McFerrin (Ashley), Adam McFerrin (Lindsey), Bill Sanders (Kate), Cody Sanders (Alex), Justin Schmitt (Melinda) and William Lomax (Francesca); and her son-in-law Mark Sanders. She is also survived by twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
