He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kasten and Edna Kasten (family: Overland, Ron). He is survived by: his wife Lois Kasten; his children, Nathan Kasten (Kathy) of Sapulpa, OK, Lenore Berlinski (Mark) of Murphy, NC and Claire Knehans (Mark) of Villa Ridge; his daughter-in-law Julie Kasten of Dover, DE; his grandchildren, Hannah, Shyaan, Ryan, Jacob (Lauren), Adam (Clare), Nicholas (Sarah), Matthew (Hannah) and Henry (Meredith); his great grandchildren, Judah, Violet, Walter, Launhardt, Madeline and Margaret; his sisters, Janice Flentke of St. Peters and Lois Jobe of Ballwin; his sister-in-law Joan Grotelueschen of Phoenix; his in-laws, Paul and Esther Grotelueshen; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Hohenstein, Herb Hohenstein, Paul Grotelueshen Mark Grotelueshen, Ron Brockman, Richard Flentke and Robert Jobe. He is also survived by twenty-two cousins and their spouses, and twenty-two nieces and nephews with their spouses.
