We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2025, at the age of 97, Terry Dee Taylor of Washington, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Taylor; his children, Dave Taylor (Phyllis) of Nashville, TN and Debbie Esser (Berney) of Mount Vernon, IL; his grandchildren, Lori Willeford (Josh), Rachel Morton (Michael), Amanda Taylor, Joshua Esser (Hilary) and Jason Esser (Jori); his great grandchildren, Weston Willeford, Taylor Willeford, Lincoln Willeford, Madeline Esser, Lillian Esser, Blair Esser and Benjamin Esser; his stepson John Gerner (Heather); his stepgrandchildren, Adam Gerner (April), Michael Gerner and Jacqueline Gerner; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Noah Gerner, Marren Gerner and Kira Gerner. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oltmann Funeral Home - Washington (508 E 14th St, Washington, MO 63090). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Peter's Ucc Cemetery (1700 E Fifth St, Washington, MO 63090).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pregnancy Assistance Center in Washington, MO.
