With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet June Mauntel of Washington, Missouri, who passed away on April 29, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Violet June is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Violet June's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Schwentker (Rick) of Marthasville, Terri Hecktor of Washington and Jim Mauntel (Stacey) of Farmington. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
