She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Briggs and Hazel; her husband Virgil Barringhaus; her children, Randy Barringhaus, Kirk Barringhaus and Shellie Barringhaus; and her sister Betty Wehmeier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jonnie Callahan of Kemah, TX and Kellie Moffitt (Todd) of Washington; and her grandchildren, Amy Bone (Clint), Jeremy Barringhaus (Lisa Corley), Erin Callahan (Donald Swofford), Kimberly Stanley (Matthew), Julie Warren (Justin), Matthew Moffitt (Jessica), Becky Pate (Sam) and Ben Barringhaus (Danyee). She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (1206 Jefferson St, Washington, MO 63090). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
