He was predeceased by: his parents, William Duncan and Ethel Duncan (Coon); his daughters, Melissa Sherwood and Amanda Duncan; and his brothers, Dennis Duncan, Ronald Duncan, Neil Duncan and Jack Duncan.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Duncan (Kribben); his sons, David Duncan (Jennifer) of St Clair and Sean Rothschild (Melissa) of Washington; his sisters, Maxine Becker of Sedalia and Della Ney (Paul) of Mineral Point; and his grandchildren, Madelyn, Liam, Everly and Killian. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins and many friends.
