He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Barnum and Mary Margaret Wickens (Utterback); and his brother Steve. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his brother Mike (Lisa Weixelman); his daughters, Laura Harrison, Sarah Wickens, Jennifer Wickens and Virginia Stanturf; and his grandchildren, Clare Harrison Basham, Jack Harrison, Lela Stanturf, Pierson Stanturf and Wallace Wickens McKee.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Parkville Living Center or Parkville Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
