She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Juanita Corene Barrett; her stepfather Johnny Spicer; and her brother Loren Lee Pennington. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Peek (Laura) of Joplin and Amanda Cole (Brad) of Baxter Springs, KS; her sister Margaret Harris (Chester) of Joplin; and her grandchildren, Justin Peek, Kaylee Peek, Nevaeh Peek and Jaxson Cole. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
