She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sterling and Maxine Sterling; her husband Buford Silvey; and her siblings, Carlis Sterling, Cheryl Poindexter and Mike Sterling.

She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Mills (Gary, Jr.) of Carl Junction, MO and Cindy Broady of Webb City, MO; her brother Sherwin Sterling of Carl Junction, MO; and her grandchildren, Gary Mills III (Lorietta) of Seneca, MO and Lindsey Grob (Brandon) of Denton, TX.
