He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Ethel Hudson (Smith); his wife Betty Alice Eagan; his siblings, Ruth Adcock, Naomi Pryor, Esther Askins, Hazel Malle, Bonnie Gaddy, Leonard Hudson, Andrew "Curly" Hudson, Oscar Hudson and Danny Hudson; and his granddaughter Dawn Marie Hudson.

He is survived by: his children, Alice Snider of Myrtle Beach, SC, Martha Hamby of Webb City, MO and Marvin Hudson (Theresa) of Frontenac, KS; and his sister Thelma McNeely of Pittsburg, KS. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Crocker Cemetery (924 KS-171, Pittsburg, KS 66762).
