Carol leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Carol’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Carol will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur F. Hughes and Jessie C. Hughes. She is survived by: her husband Joe Brice; her children, Brian Hahs (Julie) and Christy Flannery (Mike); her stepchildren, Julie Fortune (Dave) and Shawn Brice; and her brother Richard Hughes (Jane). She is also survived by grandchildren; and 16 beautiful great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation or Muscular Dystrophy Association.
