He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Gaioni and Elizabeth Gaioni; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his daughter Anna Hummel (Paul); his wife Pauline; his son Mark (Paige); his grandchildren, William, Avery, Jaden and Ezra; and his siblings, Kathleen (Ed), John (Liz), Anne and Peter (Rick).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association to support ongoing research efforts.
