We announce the death of Jo Ann Cox of Wellington, Missouri, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 83. Jo Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Vernon and Arnold Jo Pallette (Vance); her daughter Kelly Jo Weldy; and her sister Vicky Lynn. She is survived by: her husband Steve Cox; her daughter Paula Rainwater (Brent) of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Derek Weldy, Cory Weldy and Connor Rainwater; and her great grandchildren, Sohpia Weldy, Ila Weldy and Addison Weldy. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lexington United Methodist Church (1211 S Business Hwy 13, Lexington, MO 64067). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
