He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Stewart and Ruth Stewart (Erwin); and his siblings, Faye Froelich and Freddie Wayne Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kay Lovelace; his children, Jason Sean Stewart of Wellsville, Kimberly Renae James (Robert) of Silex and Kari Kay Griffen (Michael Eckler) of Wellsville; his grandchildren, Alex Everett Stewart, Austin Dean Oberhaus, Haley Alexis James, Alena Alexandria Griffen, Ashley Mackenzie James, Alivia Grace Stewart, Cameron Joseph Griffen and Jordan Trey James; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Stewart and Hunter Dean Oberhaus.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Myers Funeral Home (203 E Bates St, Wellsville, MO 63384). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to either the Wellsville VFW Post 3056, or to the Helen Reagan Cancer Fund.
