She was predeceased by: her husband Charles J Benda; her parents, Victor Gaydos and Anna Gaydos; her brother Thomas Gaydos; and her great grandchild Bryson Dobbs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Powell (Steve) of Lakeland, FL, Cheryl Linz (Ron) of Gallatin, TN, Lorri Brown (Chris) and Carolyn King (Rex) of Lebanon, TN.; and her brothers, Daniel Gaydos (Ruth) and Antonín Grecula.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pitman Funeral Home (1545 Wentzville Pkwy, Wentzville, MO 63385). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 at the Our Lady Cemetery (8701 Orf Rd, Lake St Louis, MO 63367).
