Gary Ortner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Ortner of Wentzville, Missouri, who passed away on December 10, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Ortner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivina Irene Ortner (McWhinnie) and Glen Elvin Ortner; and his brother Greg Ortner. He is survived by: his wife Alice Ortner (Koos); his children, Nathan Ortner, Cathy Ortner and Jeff Ortner; his siblings, Rick Ortner and Linda Buzay; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Cale, Maggie, Spencer and Logan. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wentzville Christian Church (1507 Hwy Z, Wentzville, MO 63385). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125).
