We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2023, at the age of 80, Judith Stege of Wentzville, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Judith Stege to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Sponsel and Mae Sponsel; her husband Gary Stege; her sister Charlotte Sponsel; and her brother-in-law Chuck Stege.

She is survived by: her children, Tammy Slayden (Areland) and Jeffrey Yates (Carolyn); her stepchildren, Deanna Lacefield (Matt) and David Stege (Amy); her grandchildren, Jessica Schilling, Jaelee Yates, Summer Kohring, Payton Stege, Sean Slayden, Justin Yates, Jay Algiere, Ryan Lacefield, Drayden Lacefield and Austin Stege; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Schilling, Xander Yates, Calvin Slayden, Nolan Slayden, Briley Kohring, Regan Kohring and Grayson Kohring; her siblings-in-law, Brett Stege and Linda Stege; her brother Brett; and her uncle Gary. She is also survived by other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Five Acres Animal Shelter in honor of Judy or the Ataxia Foundation in honor of Charlotte Sponsel.
