He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Hakenwerth and Catherine A. Hakenwerth. He is survived by: his brothers, Charles Hakenwerth (Virginia) and Jerry Hakenwerth (Rosemary); and his nieces and nephews, Denise, Amanda, Tony and Tim. He is also survived by eight great-nieces and nephews.
