He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Hakenwerth and Catherine A. Hakenwerth. He is survived by: his brothers, Charles Hakenwerth (Virginia) and Jerry Hakenwerth (Rosemary); and his siblings' children, Denise, Amanda, Tony and Tim. He is also survived by eight great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Pitman Funeral Home (1545 Wentzville Pkwy, Wentzville, MO 63385). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theodore Catholic Church (5059 Hwy P, Flint Hill, MO 63385). A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the St. Theodore Catholic Church Cemetery (5059 Hwy P, Flint Hill, MO 63385).
