He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Milton and Patricia Lou Lyon (Richardson); his siblings, Steven Lyon, Eric Sechrest and Vicki Lyon; and his pets, Eleanor Rigby (Ellie), Sadie and Penny Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Lyon; his children, Shanda Lyon (Pat Ryberg) of Harrisonville, MO, Tyler Lyon (Sammy Murawka) of Lee's Summit, MO, Kristina Carter (Jermar) of Belton, MO and Kelley Knight (Gary) of Raymore, MO.; his sisters, Donna Barret (Ray) of West Line, MO and Lori Brock of Cleveland, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Lyon of West Line, MO, Debbie Turner of Grandview, MO, Mike Long (Jan) of Grandview, MO and Rich Long (Kay) of Broken Arrow, OK. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and his beloved chihuahua.
