Though Alva David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alva David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Bennett and Lela Beckner Bennett; and his father-in-law Jess Hopkins. He is survived by: his siblings, Carlos Bennett and Freda Skiles; and his mother-in-law Eunice. He is also survived by one nephew and two nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home (211 W Main St, West Plains, MO 65775). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.
