Betty Jo Mitchell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Mitchell of West Plains, Missouri, who passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Adkins and Addie Adkins; her husband Roy Mitchell; and her siblings, Dotty Jean Taylor, Ann Boyd and Robert Adkins.

She is survived by: her son Jerry Mitchell (Kumiko) of Yonkers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
