He is survived by: his children, Rod Forester (Kathy), Jody Forester (Patricia), Danny Belt, Kevin Belt (Debbie) and Rita Mitchell; his brothers, Ralph Forester (Dale), Roy Forester (Lori) and Billy Forester; his siblings-in-law, Darrell Mitchell (Bonnie), Carol Ross and Glenda Bowers (Sherman); his aunts, Evelyn Crabtree, Nadine Green and Ruth Thompson; his grandchildren, Lexie, Bonnie, Andrew Forester, Wendy Bailey (Pat), Dallas Mitchell (Savannah), Crystal Kausler (Josh), Bradley Mitchell, Kimberly Osterkamp (Justin), Victoria Crabtree (Kelly), Curtis Hastings (Jamie) and Jessie Belt; and his great grandchildren, Nella Crabtree, Andrew Belt, Rose Osterkamp, Bonnie Osterkamp, Carl Osterkamp, Dillion Hastings, Dakota Hastings and Zeke Kausler.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel (827 Chestnut St, Thayer, MO 65791). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri (827 Chestnut St, Thayer, MO 65791).
