We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2025, at the age of 89, Charles Anthony Uminn of West Plains, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Charles Anthony farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Charles Anthony is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stanley Uminn and Henrietta Lanning Uminn. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lee Uminn; his sons, Eddie Evans (Loretta) and Douglas D. Uminn (Teresa); his grandchildren, Canyon Evans and Megan Uminn; and his great grandchild Mazlee Kendrick of West Plains. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Langston Street Chapel (211 W Main St, West Plains, MO 65775). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home (211 W Main St, West Plains, MO 65775).
Memorial contributions may be made to Christos House or 37th Division CASA, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
