He was predeceased by: his parents, James Luster McLain and Neva Emery McLain; and his brother Boyce McLain. He is survived by: his close friends, Ken, Fred, Dewey, Rex and Tex; his children, Andy McLain (Bobbie), Mark McLain (Nancy) and Lynn Tackitt (Michael); his grandchildren, Katie Vetter (Troy), R. J. McLain, Madi Cowell (Ethan), Tate Brand (Michelle), Sydney McLain, Jakob Tackitt and Maggie Tackitt; his great grandchildren, Annalou Mae Vetter and Hollyn Cowell; his sister Sharon Butler (Randel); his son Preston McLain; and his sister Pat Claridge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
