It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Louise Russell of West Plains, Missouri, who passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Nesbit and Viola Margaret Merritts Nesbit. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Russell (Jennifer), Michael Cockrum (Marilyn) and Kellie Woody (Steven); her grandchildren, Olivia Brownlee, Bailey Brownlee, Mason Cockrum (Tiffany), Myles Cockrum (Mandy), Marcus Cockrum, Korey Woody (Klassie), Kaitlynn Nunally (Justin) and Kameron King (Travis); her great grandchildren, Keaton, Lainey, Brooks and Kase; and her son Jason. She is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home (211 W Main St, West Plains, MO 65775). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home (211 W Main St, West Plains, MO 65775).
Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Valley Manor Activity Fund or American Heart Association, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
