With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Oren McMurtrey of West Plains, Missouri, who passed away on April 27, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Oren McMurtrey and Reca Collins McMurtrey; and his brother-in-law Ron Manning. He is survived by : his daughters, Lori Thompson (Leland), Lesa Garner (Roger) and Michelle Bales (Eric); his grandchildren, Tiffany McKee, Terry Saathof, Tony Saathoff, Teresa Saathoff, Lucinda Dewitt (Trey), Taylor Garner (Dawn), Jenna Wright (Calvin), Jessica Bales and James Bales; his sisters, Dea Bailey and Donna Manning; his niece Rita Bailey; and his brother-in-law Booth Bailey. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM.
