He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Cawvey and Lona Mae Cawvey; his siblings, Hedley, Gerald, Rose and Chris; and his children, Craig, Sheila and Marsha.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Bridgeman (Korea); his sister Fern Duke; and his children, Von Cawvey (Jan), Robin Torretta (Terry) and Terri Tomlinson (Brian). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.
