She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Eugene Thomas and Hazel Rosella Street; her husband Gary Wayne Lawson; and her sister-in-law Dana Thomas. She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Sinclair (Martin) of West Plains, Missouri; her grandchildren, Tara McFarland (Ian) of Maumelle, Cody Collins (Cheyenne) of West Plains, Raven Collins (Kayla) of West Plains and Cora Epley (Cody) of Pottersville, Missouri; her siblings, Larry Thomas of West Plains and Rose Gunter of Springfield, Missouri; her sister-in-law Rosa Thomas of West Plains; her son James Newton; her great grandchildren, Kaiden Collins and James Collins; her siblings, Aaron Thomas, Alice Looper (Manual) and Donna Sue Thomas; and her brother-in-law Brentwood Gunter. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home (211 W Main St, West Plains, MO 65775).
Memorial contributions may be made to Union Grove Cemetery, and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
