It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelta Faye Johnston of West Plains, Missouri, born in Oregon, Missouri, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hobert W. Miller and Gertrude B. Judd Miller; and her sister Minerva McKenzie. She is survived by : her children, Jo A. Johnston, Ray Johnston (Jan), Rick Johnston (Marilyn), Alan Johnston (Tina), John S. Johnston and Roxanna Abernathy; her sisters, Cora Winfrey, Peggy Huddleston and Fern Harris; her son Gary Allen; and her siblings, Joe, Cecil Miller, Carl H., Ray D., Harold J., Emma Roark and Margaret Carter. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
