We are sad to announce that on December 31, 2023, at the age of 83, Ruby Ruth Shannon of West Plains, Missouri, born in Gainesville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Elliott and Elzina Ann Shockey Elliott. She is survived by : her children, James Michael Shannon (Dena) of West Plains, Ruth Ann Newnam (James) of West Plains, Debra Lynn Head (Jeff) of West Plains and Charla Kay Whiteside of West Plains; and her siblings, Eula Faye Hoggatt, Beulah Mae Elliott, Shirley and Jason Elliott. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister; and many nieces and nephews.
