He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Robert Douglas Sr. and Flossie Fines Douglas; and his brother Melvin Douglas. He is survived by: his children, Kenna Wallander (Doug) and Mike Hicks (Romee); his grandchildren, Ryan Hicks and Brenden Wallander; and his sister Phyllis Williams (Eddie).
