She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Swaringam and Lydia Swaringam; her husband Harold Eugene Harper; her siblings, Eugene, Billy, John, Harold Lee, Betty and Irma; her children, Almeda Rose Pinckard and Randall Lee Harper; and her granddaughters, Jeanie Dawn Williams and Angela Rene'Williams.

She is survived by: her siblings, William, David, Mary, Wanda, Carol and Christina; and her children, Peggy Brenda Schick (Jon), Barbara Ellen Smith, Harold Eugene Harper, Jr., Daniel Wayne Harper (Lisa), Marilyn Ruth Logan (Tim), Nancy Gail Guess, Michael David Harper (Amanda), Crystal Rene'Harper and Cortney Dawn Harper. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.
