We bid farewell to Shirley LaFraine Figley of West Plains, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Shirley LaFraine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Worthington Brown and Marie Rose Brown; her grandmother Edna Mae Rose; and her brother William R. Cober (Bill). She is survived by: her foster children, Scott, Merritt, Glorianne and Marty; her children, Calvin K. Figley, III (Kara Sue), Michelle S. Mapes (Benjamin), Christopher R. Figley (Chrissy), Garry Dean Black, Brett Williams, Chelsea Johnson, Jon Andrew and Thomas Joseph Figley; her grandson Anton Christopher Figley; and her brother Worthington Brown (Roy). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the All Saints' Episcopal Church (1700 Wayhaven Ave, West Plains, MO 65775).
Memorial contributions may be made to Three Rivers Hospice and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., West Plains, Missouri.
