He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mitchell and Mabel Bostick. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Mitchell; his daughter Gewel Niebaum (Brian) of Lee Summit, Missouri; his stepchildren, Ezmeralda Niebaum, Uston Delos Santos and Remali Delos Santos; his daughter-in-law Cassie Delos Santos; his sisters, Patricia Trout of Colorado and Julia Azua of Las Vegas, Nevada; his aunt Deloris Cantwell; and his siblings' children, Carroll, Jennifer, William, Raymond, Nicholas (Erin) and Benjamin. He is also survived by eleven great nieces and great nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of West Plains (1700 Wayhaven Ave, West Plains, MO 65775).
