We are sad to announce that, on May 7, 2026, at the age of 91, Dorothy McGarry of Weston, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Dorothy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dorothy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Harless and Leona Harless (McQueen); her husband Raymond Howard McGarry; and her son Mark McGarry. She is survived by: her sister Sue Cushman of Harrah, OK; and her sons, Russell McGarry of Brownsville, OR, John McGarry (Lindsey) of Freeport, FL, Brian McGarry (Sandi) of Euless, TX, Justin McGarry of Spring Hill, KS and Ted McGarry (Susan) of St. Joseph, MO. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great‑grandchildren; and 4 great‑great‑grandchildren.
