He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy "Buck" Lampe and Dorothy Rose Baker Lampe; his siblings, Bob, Mary and Jim; and his pet Burley.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Susan Wurtenberger (John), Anne and Christian Lampe (Megan); his grandchildren, Grace and Jack; and his sister Carol.
