He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Temmen and Helen Temmen (Scheulen); his wife Irene Schwartz; his parents-in-law, Anton and Loretta Schwartz; his siblings, Lawrence "Butch" Temmen (Mary Jane), Bernard Temmen (Margie), Walter "Pete" Temmen, Gladys Wieberg (Frank), Mildred Wieberg (Alfred) and Alice Markway (Bill); his grandson William Rodney Luebbering; his siblings-in-law, Jerry, James Schwartz and Theresa Schwartz; and his nephews, Marty Wieberg and Robbie Temmen.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Distler (Doug) of High Point, Doris Lueckenhoff of Wardsville, David Temmen (Donna) of Westphalia, Betty Temmen of Westphalia, Helen Bower (Richard) of Westphalia and Amy Luebbering (Rodney) of St. Thomas; his grandchildren, Justin Francisco (Lindsey), Ryan Distler, Adam Distler (Tracie), Nathan Lueckenhoff (Shelby), Nicole Lueckenhoff, Rachel Temmen, Morgan Luebbering, Jacob Luebbering, Emma Bower and Addison Bower; his great grandchildren, Gaige, Ella, Ava, Connor, Emery, Lacie and Bennett; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Temmen, Joan Berhorst (Walter), Agnes Schwartz, David Schwartz (Mary) and Walter Schwartz.
