He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Ewing; his wife Betty Lou Ellis; and his grandson Kyle Schell. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Ellison of Shell Knob, Missouri and James Leroy Ellison of Grove, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Krystal, Courtney, Corrina and William. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
