It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Niswonger of Whitewater, Missouri, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Kinder and Alice Grebe Kinder; her son Raymond Niswonger Jr.; and her siblings, Melba Nickless and Don Kinder.
She is survived by: her children, Donna DeBrock-Gentry of Whitewater, MO, Karen Foster (Jerome) of Chaffee, Michael Niswonger (Nancy) of Jackson and Keith Niswonger (Marilyn) of O'Fallon, Missouri; her granddaughter Lisa Towe (Brian); her children, Heather Courtney (B. J.), April Umfleet (Dustin), Christy Cruz (Dan), John Niswonger, Sarah Howell (Timothy), Christina Pobst, Herbert Jr. Seyer (Heather), Robert Seyer (Hannah) and Aaron Niswonger; and her siblings, Shirlene Deneke (Ronald) of Gordonville, Betty Starks of St. Louis, Joyce Johnson (Bill) of Cape Girardeau, Gerald Kinder (Pearl) of Chaffee, MO and Faye Deneke (Wayne) of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion Methodist Church Cemetery -Gordonville (3652 State Hwy Z, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701).
