In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Barbara leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde McMillen and Zelma McMillen (Garner); her husband Joe Cosby; and her brother Dixon Lee McMillen. She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Lynn Trapp (Michael Paul) and Cathy Jean Jiz (Michael Preston). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Willard First Baptist Church (202 W Jackson St, Willard, MO 65781). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Bridge of Peace, Alzheimer Support Group in Willard, or Willard PALS and may be left with the funeral home or mailed to Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, PO BOX 217, Ash Grove, MO 65604.
