He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Grubaugh and Martha Grubaugh; his siblings, Nellie, Anna, Henry, Dolly, Matt, Wayne, Benny and Earl (Don); his son David Grubaugh Sr.; his son-in-law Dave Houston; and his grandson Colby Houston.

He is survived by: his brother Bill; his wife Linda Grubaugh; his daughter Teresa Houston; his grandchildren, Brett Houston (Mackenzie), David Grubaugh Jr. (Jessica) and Summer Grubaugh; Lorri Grubaugh Barber (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
