He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Kneir and Minnie Kneir (Hawks); his daughter Shirley Earline; and his siblings, Naomi Scheps, Verlin, Charles and Chester.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Joyce (Vinson); his children, Steven, Sandra Garrett (Bill) and Joy Rafferty (Kevin); his grandchildren, Kimberly Maher, Kasey Simpson, Sarena Hocke, Ashley Garrett and Erin Rafferty; and his brother Vernon. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
