He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Clarence and Ada Dougherty (Skaggs); and his siblings, Joe, Ray Dougherty, Irene Goebel, Opal Foster, Mary Marler, Lorene Burns, Mildred Eads and Ruth Shular.
He is survived by: his wife Etta Mae Freeman; his children, Terry Dougherty of Williamsville, Doug Dougherty (Linda) of Naylor, Lori Morey (James) of Williamsville and Dana Bratton (Don) of Williamsville; his grandchildren, Brandon Morey, Jaimie Morey, Joey Morey, Tyler Dougherty, Taylor Bolt and Sydney Wheat; and his sister Verna Mae Nunn of Orville, CA.. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
